Snow for the weekend(morning edition)

Folks,

Looks like were pretty much on track for the weekend as the NAM6z/12z as well as the GFS6z/12GFS shows our very cold trough over us with very likely hood of some snow at times with NNWLY flow aloft. And thicknesses drop to near or at 516m with the possibility of a CZ as shown by last nights WRF and this mornings UW-NAM/ WRF-GFS. 850mb temps look to be at -9, -10c over the weekend and then dropping to about -12c for LATE Sun into Mon. Also, our snow chance looks to last through about Tue. So a chilly weekend with a bit of snow is likely now.

  1. Its always a good sign snow is coming when the NWS posts a Winter Weather Advisory. Gotta love it. :)
